We are currently providing pointdragon™ access to a preview audience of builders. The current product preview is oriented towards technical users. A product preview for a more general audience is coming soon.
Q. What is a product preview?
A select group of users will be the first to see and use pointdragon™, before the public product launch. In return for product feedback, we will provide preview participants with free personal usage of pointdragon™ and the applications they build.
Q. How can I get involved?
Register to participate as a preview builder. Preview participants will receive additional information and pointdragon™ access.
Q. What do I get out of it?
Preview participants get exclusive access to the hottest new technology, visual web-based software development, before it hits the market. Preview participants will be able to build applications in a matter of hours or days, and use them for free.
Q. What do I need?
You need an idea, web-access, and pointclick – dragdrop mouse skills. We host pointdragon and all pointdragon applications you build, so you don't need anything else. It's that easy.
Q. How much does it cost?
The product preview is free. Preview participants get free personal usage of pointdragon and the application they build during the preview period. All participants will receive at least a three month notice before their period of free usage ends. In some cases free usage may extend beyond the product preview period.
After the product preview ends, a flat monthly usage fee will be charged for every pointdragon application. Usage fees are tiered, based on factors such as the number of users, data storage space, and CPU usage of the pointdragon application. Tier one usage will be less than $25 a month. Some free options will be available for developers.
During the preview period, there will be some restrictions on the amount of computer resources an application may consume.
Q. What happens if I decide not to use the application I build?
If at any point you decide to discontinue using your pointdragon application, you can simply download the data in a number of standard formats.
